Weekly Weigh-In #10

This Week: -1.4 lbs
Total Loss: -6.8 lbs

This is going to be a quick post. I subbed in a bilingual second grade classroom today, and I am worn out! They were a great class, but I didn't sleep well last night. So tired!

Anyway, I'm so sorry my weigh-in didn't post last week. I didn't realize until Saturday that it was still a draft. Since it was that late in the week before I noticed it, I just decided to wait and post an update today.

For my weigh-in that didn't post, I GAINED 2.8 pounds! I didn't realize it then, but my time of the month was coming, which I think is why I gained so much. I felt bloated and gross all weekend.

So, I was glad to see I was losing again this week. I didn't lose all that I gained last week, but I'm just gonna keep on pushing through. I keep reminding myself that even if I only lose a pound a week, in one year, that will be 52 pounds.

I only worked out twice this past week (shame, shame), and it was nowhere near 15 miles. I'm planning on doing better this week. The last two weeks I've just felt kinda blah, but I feel my motivation coming back.

Workouts for the Week
Friday - 3 miles on the treadmill
Sunday - 3 miles on the treadmill

Total Miles - 6.0

I have two more sub jobs this week and Easter on Sunday. Yay! I love getting together with my family for the holidays.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy week!

  1. That's how it goes for me too--my weight goes up a couple pounds before I monthly visit commences, and then drops off about a week after it ends. Obnoxious? Tooootally. I also noticed my motivation ties into this too. Like, I'll do so well for 2 weeks, then the week before my visit, my motivation drops and doesn't pick back up until a day or 2 before I actually start. This is even more obnoxious than the weight part. Blah. But keep on truckin! Before you know it, it'll be a huge number and you'll be glad you put in all that work! : ]

  2. Loss is a loss. Its pretty slow for me and if we chose it to be a life style change we HAVE to keep the eyes on the prize!

    We can do it :)!
